These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Livo Footsteps website, mobile applications, and related services (collectively, the “Platform”).
By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and enter into a binding agreement with Livo Footsteps (“Livo Footsteps”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”). If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.
These Terms apply to all users, including walkers, participants, organizers, volunteers, sponsors, and content contributors.
Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available on the Platform.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
Definitions
“User”, “You”, “Your” refers to any individual who accesses or uses the Platform, including participants in walking events or fitness challenges.
“Organizer” refers to individuals or entities that create, host, or manage walking events, marathons, fitness programs, or community challenges listed on the Platform.
Services Overview
Livo Footsteps is a wellness and activity platform that enables Users to discover, register for, and participate in walking events, step challenges, marathons, fitness meetups, and community wellness programs (“Services”).
Services may include event listings, registrations, participation tracking, leaderboards, certificates, community engagement, and related communications. Availability may vary by location.
Eligibility
You must be legally competent to enter into a contract to use the Platform. Minors under 18 years may use the Platform only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
If you use the Platform on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
Account Registration
To participate in events or challenges, you may be required to create an account. You agree to provide accurate and current information and to keep your account credentials secure.
By registering, you consent to receive communications related to events, updates, and promotions. You may opt out of non-essential communications.
Content
“Content” includes step data, activity logs, photos, reviews, comments, messages, event information, and other materials displayed on the Platform.
“Your Content” means content you submit or upload.
“Our Content” means content created or owned by Livo Footsteps.
Ownership and Rights
All intellectual property rights in the Platform and Our Content belong to Livo Footsteps or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or exploit our content without permission.
License to Your Content
By submitting Your Content, you grant Livo Footsteps a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, display, analyze, and distribute such content for platform operations, analytics, and promotional purposes.
Your Responsibilities
You represent that your content is accurate, lawful, and does not violate any third-party rights. You are responsible for all activity conducted through your account.
Third-Party Services
The Platform may contain links or integrations with third-party services such as fitness trackers or mapping tools. Livo Footsteps is not responsible for third-party services or content.
Prohibited Activities
You agree not to misuse the Platform, including submitting false activity data, attempting to manipulate leaderboards, harassing other users, violating laws, or engaging in fraudulent behavior.
Limitation of Liability
Participation in physical activities involves inherent risks. Livo Footsteps is not responsible for injuries, health issues, or damages arising from participation in events or challenges.
Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform if you violate these Terms or misuse the Services.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws applicable in India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
